Vincent Melvin is senior vice president and chief information officer of Arrow Electronics, Inc., with responsibility for managing the company's global information technology systems, real estate, and operations. Melvin joined Arrow in 2006 and has led many transformational projects across Arrow’s global business. He is responsible for all of Arrow’s global technology operations, development and support functions and participates actively with internal and external customers and suppliers. He is focused on delivering differentiated value and capability across Arrow's complete range of electronics and technology lifecycle services.
Prior to Arrow, Melvin was executive vice president and chief information officer of Sanmina-SCI, Inc., a leading electronics manufacturing services provider. He started his career with IBM, where he held various leadership and technical roles in information technology, supply chain logistics, and sales.
Melvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Trinity College and a Master of Science degree in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He currently serves on the board of the Colorado Technology Association.
