As Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Nancy D’Amico is responsible for leading LeasePlan’s IT strategy, program management, application development and support, business intelligence, data center operations, and communications technology functions. Nancy is a member of the Executive Management Team responsible for strategic planning and business performance. She also serves as a member of the Core Business Team responsible for approving new commercial business products and as a member of the LeasePlan Global Technology Board responsible for approving technology standards across all of LeasePlan’s 32 countries.
Nancy’s 30+ years of experience includes 12 years at Delta Air Lines and 13 years with NCR Corporation. Her background includes leadership positions in software development, systems engineering, data management, quality assurance, software supplier management, data center operations, and program management.
Nancy is active in the Atlanta IT community, participating on CIO panels and serving as a subject matter expert on varying topics for organizations including Women in Technology, Technology Association of Georgia, Georgia CIO Leadership Association, Executive Alliance, and Kettering Executive Network. She held the Atlanta Chapter Chair position for TechExecs Network from 2011 through 2013, and is currently part of the leadership team for the Kettering Executive Network IT Special Interest Group.
Nancy is also a contributing author in two books, “Data Center Insights: A Compilation of Leadership Thoughts, Views and Observations,” published by Executive Alliance in 2010; and “Climb: Leading Women in Technology Share Their Journeys to Success,” published by Women In Technology, Inc. in 2010.
Her efforts at LeasePlan and within the IT community have not gone unnoticed. She was named a 2010 finalist for the Women of the Year in Technology Award, a 2011 finalist for the Georgia CIO of the Year Award, a 2012 finalist for the ATP Enterprise Leadership Award, and 2013 finalist for the Women of theYear in Technology Award.
In addition to the IT community, Nancy is active in the fleet management industry as well. She is a founding member of Women in Fleet Management, a group that encourages personal and professional career fulfillment through mentoring, fleet expertise sharing, business community involvement and networking.
Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Roberto C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
